Larix half-cascade

Remember the larch I worked on last winter?

Over the year it grew very vigorously. So I had the chance to make good branch selection for better remification. I also decided to make it more compact and brought the apex lower to the trunk. This will make the tree appear more powerfull and stable.

A photo from the side.

A classical example of photo not telling you what the tree really looks like. It looks king of awkward from the side, doesn't it?
What about the nebari? Does it go more or less straight into the ground or does it curve towards horizontal eventually?

Hi,
I think it looks just as it should form the side (also from the front). The nebari is not very deep.
